4/5/6“How does colour affect the viewers reaction to Picasso’s “Celestina” in blue tones and in
Kiki Smith’s “Virgin Mary” in red tones?

Colour can present emotions to the person looking at the painting. for example, blue can mean sadness. This is shown in Picasso's "Celestina", which is serving you sadness because of the blue. Whereas the "Virgin Mary" painting by Kiki Smith has many red-ish earth tones colours and serving you the feeling of being uncomfortable.

7) Looking to your colour wheel, what are 3 areas you are most proud of and what are 3
areas if you had more time you would rework and why?

    Proud:

- Mixing the colours

- Clean black lines

- dedication

    I'll work on next time:

- I make sure to paint on the colours less streaky by feathering on top after.

- The bubble letters

- Adding less black to the darkest shade.
